Edgar Driver

A pair of crooks pursue a retired admiral to a cottage to steal a valuable, and unbeknownst to them, cursed diamond from his possession.

1937. The council whom Bill works for are turning to motor transport to replace the horse and cart. Bill, unable to accept the change, buys his horse and sets off to seek work in the country. He encounters many folk that he helps along the way.
